CITA
What is CITA?
CITA Programs offer lessons and stand-alone units for teachers and students. CITA contains all necessary materials to teach fundamental standards using art as a teaching and learning tool. The programs are the result of 30 years of education research by the author. practicing in schools of the San Francisco Bay Area and other places. The programs were created by Susana Lasta in response to the teachers' need for better means to teach curricular subjects. Developed in the class with the teachers as a team, provide an art training for the room-teacher. The program responds to National Science Curriculum, Social Studies Standards, National Mathematics Standards, and Standards for English language Arts.
Three thousand students and 102 teachers participated in the testing and fine tuning of this method born in the heart of the classroom.

Students became aware of the importance of recycling while creating a mural with the items that make up the city.
